it's raining all the way down to medford, I am already cold and wet and I havn't even gotten on the bike yet.  this sucks.  it's like it's monday again.

RVertigo

Well, at least you got to ride in the sun last week...  I rode Monday and Tuesday...  Then came down with a HORRID flu.  :x

Roadstergal

Ach, when it's raining, it's just a longer line of stuck cars to laugh at when you go by in the HOV lane.

RVertigo

But it's soooo much nicer to ride in the sun.

That's all I'm complaining about (except when I'm complaining about my gloves).

Try it when it's over 100 degrees (or 40 if you're metric) in full leathers.  Not so much fun then.  "It's hot!  Damn hot! Hot and wet!"

yeah but being soaked for the first 6 hours of a 18 hour ride is not fun.  I ended up leaving at 7:30 pm yesterday.   rode for a couple hours till i was too cold, and passed out at a rest stop till i awoke to some guy asking me if i was ok. being really tired my wit wasn't up to par so i just went back to sleep.

Sorry, that last post was too comically sad to not reply to...Losing feeling in your hands because of a little rain...Cry me a river!!!

Dave is officially crazy, Danny and I met him for some Mexican food on his way through Visalia, at like 6:30, he wanted to waste 2 hrs to get through LA after the traffic tapers off, on an 18 hr trip total!  NUTSO!!
