Red, the fastest color?

I think some body wishes he had a red bike.

Heh, for me red is the slowest color, because I'm the one riding the red bike! (red with pink stripes). As a noob I'm still learning so I'm routinely one of the slowest things on the road.

Maybe it's the pink that slows it down :lol:.

I do wonder if the red is helping visibility though, particularly as red is linked with warnings for humans (red lights, red flags, etc.). I have a red jacket too (it was the only one in my size in the Brockton Cycle bargain bin, I didn't really care if it matched even though everyone thinks I wanted it to).
I've yet to have anyone pull out in front of me while riding, but my friend who rides a navy blue Ninja 250 and has a black and grey jacket has it happen to her all the time.
