Hello,
I just picked up my 2005 Honda 600RR. I will definitely miss the GS I learned a lot about riding safe and made a few friends along the way. I will be selling the Yoshi exhaust I have for it in the a couple of days I will let you all know when I post it to Ebay. My advise to anyone new to riding is start with the GS then when your ready go get your dream bike!

Heres a pic of her:      :thumb:

Ah, you're safe.  It's in the Gulf and you're on the Atlantic side. It'll be blue skies in the morning, afternoon latest.  Pictures by Sunday?  :)

Come on over to www.600rr.net There's lot's of great people.

Here's my 05.

Also just to let you know now RR's aren't wheelie machines so don't even bother asking how to do it. Hehe. Just letting you know. There's a new "howcome I can't wheelie?" thread every day just like here.

im glad i own a old GS that means I dont have to trade it in or sell it, i can keep it when i buy another bike, im gonna start a collection just like the 3 cars I own. one thing though. i know honda bikes are cool and good bikes, but I could never own anything with five letters on it H.O.N.D.A lol
a pact my best friend and I made when we were sixteen never to buy anything honda. mainly because everyone owns honda cars. but anyways enjoy your bike have fun with your new found power :)
1991 Suzuki GS500E , a bunch of crap done to it :)

It's not the name that makes the car/bike it's the owner. I'm pretty sure those poor stock Honda civics weren't made to have 4 foot aluminum wings and plastic hub cap spinners with a 5 inch coffee can exhaust. They're economical cars and serve their purpose. They'll last much longer than any piece of american made crap too.

I don't see cavaliers driving around with 250k on the clock with all original parts.

There's no reason to be hondaphobic. Also I'm pretty sure Honda has won the majority if not all of the 600cc class races. I don't follow it too closely though so don't quote me on that.

I'd take a Honda Civic over a Suzuki Forenza any day.

hey man you dont have to get so defensive I agree they are great bikes, everone owns somthing with the name HONDA on it , and just to set the record straight I dont own any American cars I own european cars just because I love volvo's and I do own a japanies bike and a 89 sentra.
i was just making funny little point about honda's cause i gotta throw it in there. wasnt trying to dis the bike man , i think its pretty sweet myself. im just a anti honda guy lol.

have fun with the bike.

I would take a forenza over the honda, cause hondas are junk....NO, i dont own one....ok I do (1980 honda cb900)  but i like the forenza interior better and its pretty powerful for alittle car, 2.0L.  I dont know about the 600 class but everyone left the game in the 750 class cause they couldnt keep up with the gixxer750.  There isnt a 750 class any more I dont think.  But I would say the cbr600rr is pretty nice i like it.  But I would never leave the Suzukis, always gotta have one.  Here is my order of what I would buy first, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Vespa, yamaha and then everything else italian and exotic is just a wish.
