upper cowlings are bitches

why r they so expensive.  i've seen a buttload of those aftermarket ones on ebay and such at a reasonable price but they are all ugly.  really ugly IMO.  so i was looking at some OEM ones from different bikes but they cost sooooo much. even on ebay.  like the upper fairing stay alone is like 40 bucks plus 20 for shipping.  125 for lights.  40-80 for side pieces etc...

I was looking at some too...  Most of them are too ugly to survive and too expensive to afford.  (IMO)
