Torque value for clutch hub nut?

Greetings,
I am new to this forum, and am helping a friend refurbish a used '89 GS500E that he bought as a surprise present for his girlfriend's birthday.

He bought the bike for $300, and needless to say it needs a little TLC.
The motor actually runs fine, but the clutch was completely smoked, I mean it was so bad that you could put it in gear and let the clutch out with the engine running, and the bike would not move at all.

I removed the clutch cover and disassembled the clutch. The friction material was completely gone from the clutch plates, and the steels were black from the heat!

One thing that I noticed was the clutch hub nut was loose even though the lockplate was still folded against it. I removed the hub and there is slight play between the hub and shaft splines, but since we are building this on a super low budget, I am going to fly it as it is.

I have a repair manual coming, but since the clutch parts have come in, I would like to assemble it so I can ride it to see if there are any other issues. Can someone look up the torque value for the clutch hub nut for me?

Thanks in advance!
Brian

The 2002 edition of the Haynes manual (page 2-4) says
    Clutch nut . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 40 to 60 Nm
    Clutch pressure plate bolts . . . . . 4 to 6 Nm
