I saw a little bitty rainbow today, and went to the mall parking lot to take a pic.  I then saw it was an entire ring around the sun!  And people were just walking by, talking on their cell phones and getting into their SUVs, not even noticing...

Token Rainier pic.

And the bike I rode in on. :p

awesome pictures, my scoutmaster has climbed to the top a Rainier a couple times.  bike looks good also.

If you didn't know, those brighter spots in the rainbow are sometimes called 'sundogs'. They look pretty cool especially when there is no rainbow but just the 'dogs'.
That's a nice shot BTW. Taking pics looking at the sun usually doesn't come out that good.  :thumb:

I do like the other pics as well. Ahhh your ride is just tooo clean. Nice work! another  :thumb:

You got some great pictures.  Its nice that you actually look up and see some of the beautiful things the sky can show.  Too many people never even bother.
The GS500 is the safest bike on the planet, it can just barely kill you.

Awesome piccies!  I'm a military pilot and have been dinged for not looking where I should...but you know what...you never know when your next appreciative glance at nature will be your last...so I just keep getting dinged!

Roadstergal....would you be kind enough to pass me the make and model number of your saddle bags - I like them A LOT and they look like the perfect type.  The ones I tried sat too close to the exhaust....

Did I mention awesome pics?  I think I did....

the stuff you miss being south of the 45th parralell,  I guess I'll just have to settle for the topless chicks on the freeway.

Danke!  Kodak DX-6490.  I got it for the zoom (10x optical), but it does well with "interesting" lighting conditions.

I am liking it muchly.  :)  It's a good small tankbag that holds exactly what I need to take with me on a daily basis.  I usually leave the Cortechs at hone; I was running errands.

Yep - http://www.newenough.com/tour_master_cortech_sport_saddle_bag_page.htm .  I like them muchly.  They don't hold as much as the hard panniers on my F650, but they'll take groceries or personal stuff for a weekend.

I haven't done an exhaustive search for prices on this camera.  But I happened to be on ComputerGeeks.com today and saw it listed for $250 with the EasyShare dock.  :thumb:

Dang, that's a good price!  I'm not a dock person, but if you like them, that's a good bundle.  The camera is very durable - I'm not kind to appliances at all, so the fact that it's still working after a year and a half speaks to the construction. ;)
