I bought a new Yuasa battery yesterday, and a walmart motorcycle battery charger .  The charger says my battery is 100% but, the battery won't give any power to my bike.   Theres nothing wrong with my bike's electrics, as they worked with the old battery.

Also the charger's documentation says it takes about 12 hours to initially charge the battery, when it only charged mine for 2 hours before it said it was done.

Am I overlooking something?    Whats the problem here? :?

did you pour the electrolite in?

Yeah, its got the electrolyte in it.  I bought a hydrometer to test the specific gravity - it measured really low - so I think the charger isn't charging the battery correctly.  Still tryin' to figure this whole thing out...

does it have the right amount?  the black lead goes to the negative one(the one with the minus) and the red one goes to the positive one (the one with the plus)

how many amps is the walmart charger.

If its below 1amp its not going to charge enough.. you need to boost the charge a bit for it to 'charge' before it will take any.

Do one thing, hook your new battery to your car battery, wait a few minutes (1-3minutes) and disconnect and then hook it to your walmart battery, it should sufficently charge.

Othewise i suggest gteting something that does atleast 2amps.
