up date on the  cam shaft journal clamp........well its not good , my misses had to call st johns ambulance out to south wales super bikes for me   to help in resusitation.............after i was quoted a price  of £ 700  quid  for a new head   as suzuki dont sell the clamp journals  as a seperate item,   i  guessed this but was not prepared for the price quote for a new head .....the part about st johns and having to be resusitated is not true,  but its bloody close.

does any  one out there hav  a  spare jounal clamp  ( B ) ..............  i know your not supposed to mix them , but i gues  if you take it easy for a few miles to bed it in it should be ok ?

failing that it a scrunge around for a head or even a engine for spares,   who  would have  guessed that a  2002   gs 500 k2  model   would  have  one of these broken for no apparent  reason.

so if any one can help its mvery much  appreciated..... e- mail me what you have and costs.....thanks

700 quid?  That's like $1300!  I bet there's only about four or five hundred members here who will sell you a whole, intact head for a fraction of that.

If I had the stuff I'd hook you up.

and contact a guy called torpedo he has 2 bikes that he is breaking,
or ring some breakers there is thousands of gs's available you could get a whole engine for about £200

thanks for the info, i have tried to join the gs 500 e  group in the uk but its  bloody slow getting a responce back from who ever runs the site, i joined and entered the relevant info, but im still waiting to get conformation that i can use the site,  im just sat hear waiting for the go ahead . so i cant use the site yet ,i  can  only  look  ........
