okay basically if you stand in front of your bike stradling teh front tire, look at yoru gauge housing.

On the tach side you unscrew the tach cable , and then the two bolts on the underside (basically acorns), and pull the gauges up from the otherside (cover stays). Then just pull the bulb and put in a new 194LL bulb.

On the speedo side its teh same, but you need a small jewellers screwdriver and take out the trip meter (put screw driver into teh trip meter hole and unscrew) and then basically its teh same..

I have been able to pull the bulb out and replace without taking the gauge out of its housing. try it before you start wrenching. you will see two wires going into the back of the tachometer and speedometer. they go into a rubber seal that holds the bulb pull on the rubber thing (not the wires) and the bulb will pop out. good luck
