Hey you guys,
I'm going on a trip tommorow that should be about 1,000 miles each way; 2k total. Since i didn't have a chance to get saddlebags i have loaded two dufflebags and plan to make do with some strap downs.

How much weight you guys think is safe...i think i have about 60 pounds in both bags with the clothes, food, etc...

What i've done is i've centered the weight so its not really all hanging on one side...

I'm planning on putting one duffel bag (the smaller one) on top of the other one...i'm going for the motorcycle diaries look;)

Has anyone done this before??? will it work out?

Thanks again,
Peace
