So what came first?  The chicken or the egg?  Is he famous and successful for being an indecent ass or is he an indecent ass because he's famous and successful?  Either way, the marketplace determines what sells, and he obviously makes money for the radio station or else he wouldn't be employed.  Blame society and fallen standards if you dont like it.  But here we are talking about it, and what does that mean?  Publicity.  This causes me to wonder whether it is just a publicity stunt.  Wouldn't put it past THEM for a second.

And where did everyone's sense of humor go?  Fer cryin' out loud...he's a paid entertainer.  So you're offended by his sense of humor...that's the point.  And Srinath, everyone knows it's possible to put on an all-ages show that appeals to your Disney-loving side, but that end of the entertainment spectrum is well-covered , as is the raunchy end, which brought to us the likes of George Carlin, Eddy Murphy, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Robin Williams, and all of the other comedic greats that have risen to huge success for being as filthy as humanly possible.

But there's a difference between being funny while being crass and irreverent - a la George Carlin, one of the best comedians ever - because you mate those qualities with intelligence and insightfulness, and thinking you're funny because you're crass and irreverent and don't realize there's more to it than that.

I don't listen to or support the latter.  Sure, this is publicity, but not any that's going to make money off of me.  Ta hell with both of 'em.
