K&N air filter RU-2970 do I need 1 or 2?

K&N air filter RU-2970 do I need to buy 1 or 2 of these?  I'm thinking two, but then again, I don't know if the airbox is modded to make this filter work...

the airbox is removed to install that filter.  The filter replaces the airbox.  Make sure you buy some K&N filter oil (it srpays on) and oil the filter before you put it on.

one word of caution:  apparently the filter can suck water in pretty badly in the rain.  I haven't riden in the rain with it yet, but that's the word on the street.

k&n ships their filters pre-oiled -- don't spray it out of the box

you'll need to buy some anyway for cleaning the filter, but it doesn't need to be oiled again when it's first installed
