Maduro Mistress

Hi all! New here, was searching for some mods and came across the site... My little zuke is 1 month old exactly today, and she's tearing around ever day and loving it...

My first bike ever I got her (04 GS500F) with 11 miles and she has about 1400 miles on her today 4 weeks later!!! (I think I like to ride :) )

Thanks for all the info I've read so far. I have a bunch of questions, but I'll keep reading for the meantime so you don't have to answer the same thing 50 times!

Yikes Killer cows ... I think that's kerry's worst nightmare ...
A vengeful bovine with a mean streak is now searching for Kerry's yellow GS eager to avenge its earlier injury and insult, and its got its Ninja wannabe kids with it ...

Welcome to a great site. I am sure you will find plenty of helpful info. here as well. Of all the forums I have been on this one seems to have the best group of people around. Congrats on the bike. Good choice :thumb:

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, there is always someone on here that can help.

Happiness is like peeing in your pants. Everyone can see, but only you can feel the warmth.

Oh I guess I should have clarified. My helmet, jacket and gloves, etc. were all on order. I ordered my gear, picked up my bike and then got the whole ensemble together - I am a-o-k now! : )

You're just being considerate.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I see you like cigars....  A LOT!!!!!  That is the best personal humidor I've seen!

My sis used to work at Jerry's (well, a few years back)... but I don't think she ever got bitten by the cigar bug.

I'm kind-of a freezin/boiling rider too; didn't ride much after turkey-day last year, and started daily again a couple weeks before easter this spring (with maybe 5 or 6 rides in-between).  An Aerostich suit looks pretty drab, but it makes spring and fall tolerable.  (summer... ugh! best to go riding at dawn)

Thanks for the warm welcome you guys! And no prob stephen - I totally understand! I didn't want to ride without my stuff, ya know, even though the Arai my shop lent me until my helmet came in was pretty sweet!!!

Thanks Rec! I love my 'dor. That was my obsession before I discovered the world of bikes, now my humidor is neglected and my bike gets cleaned every day :)

Great site you guys have here! I will compile my list of questions and post them. Thanks again for the welcome!
