Installed my wileyco can today via flange provided by srinath.

It was pretty easy, the hardest part was removing the rusted bolts from the header on the motor.

Let me just say this: If you have not done this yet, you need to. The sound of this can is unbelievable!!! 200X better than stock. Tomorrow I will rejet my carbs, and install the K&N lunchbox... This bike should be bitchin now!

Thanks srinath!

Here are some pics. I unfortunately got caught up in a monement of mangasm at the sound of the exhaust, and forgot to put my fan infront of the motor, thusly melting the front fender a little... but oh well, it was worth it!

Thanks man... it went good.. I need to have someone weld the mid pipe to the header for me, it is a little loose, but not a lot, I would feel better if it were welded.

Srinath, excellent job buddy. I appreciate it.

Also I re-painted my headers, and new flange with bar-b-q paint. seems to work ok, I think it will be better once I ride it and get it heated up.

Big thanks.

I was waiting till I checked my valves before putting the Wileyco on, which means the Wileyco has been sitting in my garage. After I got the shimming done tonight, I took a friend for a ride and I heard something metal fall off the bike. I figured it was something I forgot to tighten when I put the bike back together, but it turned out to be the bolt for the muffler bracket. Maybe it's a sign that it's time to get the Wileyco on.

I had the same problem with my pipe being loose also.  I didn't weld it; all I did was go to the auto store and bought some high temperature exhaust putty.  It kinda looks like play-do but brown.  I rolled it into a long snake-like thing and put it around the exhaust connections.  Cost me about $4, works great.  I was even able to paint it.  If i need to remove the exhaust for anything all I have to do is chip it off.
