I got my new riding jacket today so of course I took it out on the obligatory first ride.  It is a Joe Rocket Reactor "S" Sport Jacket, paid $89 for it through the "Closeouts" section on NewEnough.com (Thanks LadyJules for the advice). Wow am I impressed.

I'd been watching and watching and watching ebay..waiting for a good deal to come along. Nothing seemed to, but I went to that site through the suggestion of a site member and there it was..my dream jacket   :P

It is SO much better than the thin leather one I'd been wearing. Like 1000% better. I LOVE the breathing vents, the removable liner, the look, the feel. It couldn't be any more perfect of a riding jacket. I actually LIKE wearing it..which is important, so I'll be sure to wear it. It looks and feels great, and best of all, will help protect me. It was affordable too.

Yes this post is kinda pointless, but I like the jacket so much...I just wanted to tell someone about it. Hah!  :thumb:
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Nice.  Newenough's closeouts section is a good place to find good prices on decent gear.  I got my Joe Rocket Speedmaster gloves and Teknic Sport pants through them, and just today got my Tour Master Robomax Carbon gloves from them.  Since the offerings for women's gear - especially gloves - suck ass, I usually have to get XS men's...
