Does any one know where I can get bars that clear the bolts on the triple trees? I want to slide the forks so I can lower the bike but the damn bars are in the way.  :guns:  Does anyone know of any lowering kits?

OK, I think I got it.  Thanks for the help.  The front and rear views weren't working when I posted this, but I think it's a server prob, because they're on a different server than the close and side views.

The brown thing you see between the bar clamps is the "custom leather" I made for my stock bars to cover the big rusty spot extra keys make while vibrating around.  I just transferred it to the new bars for the heck of it.

The close up shows how tight the brake MC is to the 3tree, and where I left the fork caps off because of interferrence with the bars.  I'm not sure if I'm going to whittle the caps down and reinstall or just leave them off.

I just cut the bar-end inserts out of my old bars and set them in the drags tonight.  I'll post the results of the vibe condition tomorrow after the adhesive cures.

I don't think the files are there.  I went to http://server2.uploadit.org/files/ and waited for it to load the (LONG!) alphabetized list of filenames.  I couldn't see any files starting with "apache", even allowing for mixed-case combinations.   :dunno:

Here's the latest-  I re-uploaded the the two pics that weren't working and now it's working.  I also went for a short test ride after I finished installing my bar-ends and the vibes are way down, now.  I'd say pretty comparable to stock bars.  So the bar ends helped A LOT.  Thanks for everybody's input.

You can also take some lead shot or BB's or pellets and fill up your bars to add even more vibe damping

But, shot is cheaper...  And you can have an emergency maraca too!
