I checked my local listings (LA area) and the MotoGP on Sunday isn't being broadcast on regular networks, just some boring Nascar race.

Anyone know where this will be available for download as a bit torrent?

You can stream it from the MotoGP site, but it's $$$.

I wonder if they'll be showing it at the Rock Store...  Don't they have TVs there?

Find a bar to watch it in.  I'm going to a pub to watch the AMA race, the motoGP race, and the third (World Superbike?).  General Admission is supposed to be sold out so don't bother riding up to Monterey ;)

I bet it's critical mass down there right now

I also got shafted by the lack of coverage on normal TV, though I was lucky enough to snatch a ticket to the Saturday events at Laguna Seca, which included the AMA Superbike Race and the MotoGP qualifying.  Despite looking hard, I didn't see any GS500's there, and Suzuki didn't have any in its display tent (only SV650 and up).  However, I did become severely dehydrated drooling over everything else.  I've posted some pictures at

If you want to see more or want higher-res versions, let me know.

Speed is the ONLY reason I suscribe to Directv.  So,  I hit the record button on the VCR just before MotoGP and went out to do my yardwork.  After finishing that I jump in & out of the shower then pour myself a cool Fresca and sit back and hit rewind and play and find out that my cheap-ass receiver lost the satellite feed just before the race.  :(

I found out that highlight videos are available on the motogp site for the US race for 4 euros (about $5-6).  They include the full race video, highlights, interviews, crashes and such.  You even get to see a video of Brad Pitt watching the race!!!

Just watch the race replay Tuesday on Speed.  Just make sure you don't visit the motoGP site because they always plaster the results all over the front page

Welp, fate smiled upon me today.

Since I don't have the Speed Channel, I decided I'd go for a Malibu ride.  I stopped for lunch at the Rustic, near the Rock Store, and as I was finishing my BBQ chicken sandwich some harley biker dude of all people turned on a TV I didn't even know was there, and there was the AMA finishing up.

So, I got to watch that and the MotoGP race, and do about 80 miles of canyons all in one day.

yeah...I watched the GP race...good race.
Pretty big advantage for the american riders...they use to battle it out in ama superbike.

Yeager...should have called me bout going to Malibu...I've been hitting ACH lately...I miss Malibu

can't you just pay  :dunno:

Its less than ten bucks to see the 3 FP's, the QP, The race, and have access to all the interviews and highlights.... or if you pay about 45$ you get access to EVERYTHING, all races, all FP's all QP's and all interviews from past seasons too..... Maybe i'm just biased since I spent about 4000$ on a trip to europe to see the season opener in Jerez but I dont find it an inconveniance at all to pay a small price to watch top class racing.

Sorry if it sounds like a rant, its really not, i'm just telling you that the cash is well worth it for a fan of the sport.
