Any know the correct answer?

I have read on this site in a few places to check oil while bike is on the sidestand.

I read in my clymer manual to check it from the centerstand.

I cannot find my original owners manual to see what it says.

What is the correct way?
" If you live life like everthing is life or death, you not gonna do much livin".

check it from the centerstand. And the correct level will be with the dipstick (NOT) Screwed in! Just kinda sitting in there :thumb:

Thats what I have been told :)

Kerry was kind enough to illustrate for us the differences in indicated oil level as checked from the sidestand, the centre stand, and holding the bike vertical.

Here's that thread.
