O-Ring Fit perfectly.

What was the WIX model on the NAPA gold filter?  #24931?

Yep, cause they are no good, IMO. Cardboard endcaps, loose inner tubes, and filtration worse than WalMarts $2 generic filters are a few of the things that come to mind. Cut one open and you'll probably puke.

You get what you pay for.

I have been using Fram oil filters for the entire life of my GS (About 50,000km) with no issues at all. I guess it's just a matter of personal preference.

daneilah - I work right beside Monarch Oil, and I never knew you could get oil filters from them. Can you get a case of filters with the o-rings for a cut-rate?

Took a trip for lunch - Local NAPA didn't have the 4931 filter in stock so I couldn't look at it. It'll be until I change my oil again before I can help you...

On preview - the trailing digits on your part number are the same as the NAPA number). coincidence? I think not!

I got an STP filter from Auto Zone and it came gasket and all.  Fit like a champ and was a little under 3.50 US dollars.  Suzuki wanted closer to 10 for theirs with no gasket, they charge extra for that
