Cooling Vests - Beating the heat

....well.....I decided that I ought to get something.....soo.....I ordered up one of the Sahara Vests today from New Enough......I was ordering a pair of boots....(tired of wearing hiking boots).....so along with my new pair of Joe Rockey Orbit boots, I've got a Sahara Vest coming too.....hopefully they'll be here before the end of the week, as I shipped fedex 2 day air for $5 extra....

i bought the Sahara Vest before it got up to 116 in my area. the vest works great. it makes a big difference in temp. i have the alter ego jacket which helps even more. the only downside i have to say about the vest is that it lasts a little more than an hour. i just carry a ziplock bag with me and stop somewhere and fill it back up. what also helps is putting a camelback under the vest with ice cold water. hope this helps out.

The cooling vests ... yea buy a 100 of those peltier TEC's and slap them on ... and best of all ... in winter reverse the polarity and they will wam ya as well ... if you need ... Heck you guys think I should make 1000's of them and flood the market ...  :lol:  ...
