Question to the people that ride to work and are forced to deal with business casual dress code....ie slacks, dress shirt, dress shoes

What do you guys ride in?  I am afraid that my clothing under the gear will get sweaty and wrinkled.....same goes for carring the work clothing in the backpack

also, r there tail bags that could be locked to the bike in some way?  I would love to at least have my boots and helmet stored on a bike, so my gear bag could be small

you just love that search feature, don't ya :)

i actualy did see that.....but I am riding for 40 minutel to work, and I am pretty sure that humid hot air will ruin the looks of the pants if carried in the backpack......i guess hard tail bag could work though, Does any one have the source for cheaper hard tail bag? they have lock right? for both locking to the bike and locking the case itself..... and are they big enough to fit a FF helmet?

If they're nicely pressed and folded, any pants should do fine in a bag...  For well over 5 hours.

You can leave jackets and/or pants at work, then put them on when you get there. If you have a dry-cleaners by the office, you can drop them off and pick them up as you need them.

If you add a Suzuki luggage rack you can you can buy the cheap detachable hard case from JCWhitney - see http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-Browse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2002510/showCustom-0/p-2002510/N-111+10211+600002996/c-10111
and bolt the mounting plate to the rack.  The case locks to the mounting plate and locks. It is comparable in build to GIVI cases - jusst about tight for one full face helmet - not big enough for the helmet and gear.  If you do hook up to the Suzuki rack it should be noted that vibration and heavy wieght can cause the Suzuki rack to break the mounting points on the bike - not hthe rack - the under seat mounting points.  It bolts to the same splots as the grab bar at the back of the seat.  Other racks (Like Five Stars - which I have now) have additional mounting points and can carry much more wieght without causing a problem.

If you want bigger, check out the five star racks and Givi cases at TwistedThrottle.com - but the price goes up.

Thanks all...........right now i am looking at a soft bag that keeps it shape when empty on e-bay (it's expandable also), i think when i get it, a couple of locks or bike chains should make it more or less secure.....if not, it could be carried as a backpack, so it's not that bad

Not a problem, First I put on my thong and ride to work with chaps and a leather jacket. Then In the parking lot I take off the chaps and the jacket, and then wear the work clothes ... wearing the thong only under leathers etc keeps me cool
Cool.
