The key to the tires is a tire lubricant.  The one we used was from NAPA.
RuGlyde is the name.
Got the 3 tire iron set made by Motion Pro.  $29 + shipping from Tucker Moto.

These suggestions were by Marc Parnes who makes the balancer, which is a neat little device.  I think it's $105 with the shipping.

Bead braker was a 2x4 about 6' long jammed under a van that acted as a leaver which pressed down on a 8" piece of 2x4 standing on its end.

The other thing to remember is when pulling off the tire, lubricate and push down the bead on the opposite side so it is in the middle of the rim so little stretching is needed.  We were able to pull off the old front tire just by using our hands.  The same thing applies when putting on the new tire.  The font tire went on just by stepping on it, did not even use the irons.

I took an old skid and cut a 14" diameter hole in the middle.  Reinforced it from the underside near the holes so everything held together.  This made a grear platform fow working on the tire.  Did not have to worry about damaging the rotors.

Having someone help you cuts the work in half.

Again, lubricate!!   The stuff we got was great.  After it dries it remains a little tacky so it helps seal the bead.

It's off to the Adirondacks on Friday pm.
Looking at property, trip should be good for at least 1,000 miles.
