ok my question to you all is, is the frame and motor the same on the gs500's, 500e's and 500f's. it appears to be the same, but id figure id ask just to make sure. the reason why is because i have a gs500f, and an exhaust for that bike costs more than the bike. i found the vance and hines exhaust for a gs500e and im tryin to see if i could use that one on my 05, with either little or no mods to it. if anyone can help me out, that would be fantastical...lol thanks, -bob
yeah ladies, i got a croch rocket...

Go to Search.

Enter Exhaust and GS500F in the search box.

Click Search All Terms.

You get a lot of useful threads, including writeups on the install with pics.

E and F can use the same exhaust.

the motor is identical between models, the pilot jets are differnt [carbs] and the frames are identical except weither you get a black pint or silver....

The E's exhaust fits the F.....Only typical issue is to clear the lower parts of the fairings so that the heat dosn't disort the plastic. That's why on the F they added the oil cooler. Motor is still the same they just taped two places in the oil pan read my post on wileyco 1 bla bla for pics on exhaust mod install

Srinath's flange, and any modeled on it, attach beyond the point of the fairings, making that issue moot.

sry I should be more specific and remark I was thinking of the V&H but ya Srinith's flange and a 3bolt can work like a charm:)

They're not...  The bar ends attach differently....    '00s are different from '01s.
