i just got my ignition advancer about two weeks ago off of ebay (from dgyver) and it is fan....tastic.  Makes the gs much more responsive.  By the way i have white wheels and love them thank you very much.

How hard was it to install the ignition advancer?  What make did you get and how much did you get it for?

That definitely seems like a good mod.

easy as it gets... ten minutes, just unbolt old one and bolt in new one.  Got it for $26.

Yeah, I had looked at that already, but always better to hear it from someone that's tried it.

I looked for one on ebay and they don't have any.  So no companies make them anymore?

talk to Bob B. and see if he can still mod your stock one. last I heard his mill was down.

I'd start with the turn signals and handlebars. best things I did to my 2001.

the rear hugger has a function-it keeps crap off the rear shock extending its life.

bob broussard on here was making the ignition advancers for the cost of shipping (modifying your stocker actually). good upgrade. they are not made anymore. V&H is also the only pipe maker still making gs exhausts in the USA.

consider swapping the mirrors with sv650 round mirrors. they look better and are oem. same for the buell turn signals I did-oem (for harley at least) so they're bright.
