Man, I didn't  think British Columbia got screwed to the same extent that Ontario does.  Looks like I was wrong.

Good news is, it'll get better as you get older.

I pay $800/year, age 39, perfect driving record (includes a 15% multi-bike discount)

The young guy who owned my bike prior to me was paying around $4000.

AND, we only get to ride 6 months out of the year.    :dunno:

I'm shopping for insurance also.  28, Female, no experience, no tix, SoCal.

I called State Farm cause I had heard such good things about them.  Eek!  Without having any other insurance through them (cars or home) they wanted $1108...for 6 months. :nana:   They said if I insured at least 1 auto with them, it would drop to $518 for 6 months.

Progressive and GEICO are both in the $400-500 range, for the year for 15/30/10 plus comprehensive.  Much more resonable. :thumb:

I pay 220 a year through bikeline. all the regulars plus bumped up medical and uninsured motorist. I'm 37, female, no tix, no crashes.
