So....who's watching hockey this year??....

....well....I gotta say....I wasn't planning to watch hockey this fall.....because of the greedy bastards on both sides of the fence.....

....but....

...as my heart still resides in Philadelphia....I've gotta admit that I'm getting kinda interested again due to all the trades and happenings as of late.....

...I'm thinking about picking up the center Ice package again.....

....for those who don't know....the Flyers added Derian Hatcher, Mike Rathje, adn Peter Forsberg (and Chris Therien - but he's a bum, and not worth listing with the others).....JR is heading to LA....and Markov was sent south.....considering that the Flyers AHL affiliate won the Calder Cup this year, and the youth movement is pretty impressing, I'm really considering hockey....

...so.....who else out there is into hockey.....and what are your thoughts on hockey this year, and in the future in general.....

Hockey was the only pro sport I did watch...not any more. Pro sports suck! I'll spend my money on the college teams. Go WILDCATS!!!!!

On another note, I was at the Canadian Grand Prix a few months ago and the Jordan F1 team had a sign on their cars "Bring Back Hockey"... thought that was kinda funny.

Bah, Rangers... I smile every time their management wastes extravagant amounts of money on old, washed up players. And not make the playoffs :mrgreen: Actually I love watching Rangers games... so I can watch them lose! :nana:

I love hockey. Played it all my life up through college. Simply put, it's been too long since I've seen a pro game and I'm itching to watch.

Being a Kings fan means I get to watch my team lose again, but also being an Avs fan means I love watching the Wings get decimated in the off season right now. The Fliers are gonna have an awesome team. So are the Habs and Oilers. It will be nice watching those old school teams win again. Bring it!

Tix available this saturday at Staples or starting at 10am on ticketmaster, sans their normal service fee. 2 tix per person.

Free is good.

you know what's fun to watch live, golf. the last senior pga tour event I was at i had a blast, but it probably had alot to do with the free cigars and whiskey.

Woo-hoo hockey is coming back!!! Another Flyers fan here... grew up in Delaware, been up in Maine for two years now, but still represent the Flyers and Eagles... go Birds!!!! I get some funny looks with my Eagles hitch cover and my Flyers window decal, haha especially during the Pats - Eagles Superbowl last year! Anyways, definitely looking forward to hockey coming back!

I can hardly wait!!! Adding Forsberg was just icing on the cake after beefing up the D. But I'll miss Markhov, he definitely played larger than his size. I've already picked up tickets to see the Flyers play the Devils, Leafs, and Penguins. I want to see Lindros cross the blue line with his head down and Hatcher take a bead on him....
