I want to get some nice tires for my bike by the end of this month or just wait till next spring.  Anyone know which ones I would need to get?

I looked them up, but saw a lot of different BT45's.

The ones of the size that fits your bike...

Stock size: 110/70-17 front; 130/70-17 rear.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

How much do you plan on riding before the winter?  If I remember right you have the s!#%ty stock tires your bike still?  If you won't be riding a lot or very hard, it might not hurt to put the purchase off til spring, that way they are 6 monthes fresher.  But the stockers do suck and should be replaced, especially if they are cracking bad.

I am very happy with BT45s, much better than stock. You can do better, sports demons etc depends on what sort of rider you are and your cashpot. There is a lot of information on the forum about tyres, search is good. GSJack has made some interesting observations if I recall correctly plus many of the others including the Gurus.

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??

You remembered correctly, my bike does have the sh#ty stock tires.  I'll be trying to get as much riding in as possible(probably a LOT in the last 2 weeks of august) and in Sept. I start college.  I'll still be riding, but only on the weekends so I think I'll hold off till next riding season so that they are nice and new. :)   The tires on my bike now are not cracked or anything, still in good condition.  Thanks for the info guys! :thumb:

    MAW

Ron Ayers[/list:u]The V-rated sport version is overkill ... go with the H-rated ones.  (Unless the V-ones are cheaper? :dunno: )
