I do alot of straight driving and not too much leaning on the GS during my daily commute. Last night comming home from school, I decided to lean a little bit more than usual on my turns, but when I did, it felt like I was going to drop her and I immediately straigtened up to prevent falling. I tried it about 3 times but each time I felt like I was about to fall. I was looking at my tread this morning and noticed a good inch on both sides of the rear tire that seems to have never touched the road. The tire seems shiny and possibly slippery in that part and I was thinking that that may be attributed to the feeling like I was going to fall when turning.
What do you think?

Pics comming later this evening.

if you mostly ride in a straight line its likely you've squared off your tire. if you have, when you lean it over the point where the flat part meets the side that "edge" will feel like the bike falls in, and it is. you dont have much tire on the ground when you cross over that edge.

ride corners more.

He lives in San Antonio. Not much of an option there, Pablo!

Budrick, you should ride in the hill country north east of you. It might be a ways out, but it'd be worth it.

If you're ever in Austin, let me know.

Alpha, hey thanks for the invite. Yeah there is a girl who I am talking to that lives in Kyle, Tx. But they go Austin everyday because of work, school and a church my church is affiliated with called  The Door Christian Fellowship.
Ill let you know if I am ever in the neighborhood and see if you are available.

If you ever get bored one weekend grab a map and go explore the hill country. It's absoltely gorgeous out that way. We're normally riding out NW of here out to Llano and Marble Falls, out that way. That's a ways north of you, but it's worth it.

1888 looks like it might be fun. 281 north to Blanco, west on 1623 to 1888.

Tires slip "out" in a corner when they loose traction, not "over".
"falling in" is either from a set up problem, too steep a front geometry, odd tire, or other suspension problems.
Or, most likely in this case, from trying to steer to sharply/lean in at to slow a speed. Motorcycles have a specific ratio of lean angle to turning rate dependant on velocity. Trying to make them behave outside of that makes them unhappy and unstable.
Learn to work on (and be comfortable with) your corner speed and the rest will follow.
