woot.. trust me it would hurt lesser than mine.. but you are going to need to drink cold stuff and soft stuff for a few days.. and anesthesia is awesome when it crawls up your brain.

Got any good drugs? :lol:   glad you made it thru, you'll feel better when you heal and you'll be amazed at how much better your mouth will feel with all that pressure relieved.  I could not believe the difference it made

THey didnt put me out though, just numbed the HELL outta my mouth. Its SOOO disturbing when you can hear crunching and grinding, and then he prys the teeth out......I havent taken a pain pill yet cause Im still numb, figured id wait and see how badly I need one. But yea, im doin good, im hungry, but I dont know when I can eat. My mom said she would make me some soup in a bit, and im gonna go change my gause soon...

gRRRRr...they said they'd put you out and then didn't?! Bah...they suck! Perhaps it wasn't so surprising that there was some grinding, etc, since we'd all--out of the goodness of our hearts--enlightened you some.

Don't be a guy. When the pain sets in, take those pain killers!

Ahh i remember when i had my wisdom teeth out.  They hooked me up to the gas then put me on some IV.  Next thing i know i am being caried out by two nurses who i think i hit on and off to the drug store.  My friend laughed at me a lot cause they said it was like i was really really drunk.  

Use the pain killers though, cause that little tollerable pain can spike simply from breathing or drinking something cooler than your mouth.

check on when you can use ice and when you can use heat for the pain.

i found that direct application of heat and cold was much better than any of the drugs they gave me.

Never been perscibed that.  I almost always get Hydrocodone (oxycotton) :dunno:

it's even better if they're 750mg's.  

two will make you forget, believe me.  I had major sinus surgery and a week later had to have a root canal.  Vikes were my friends for a couple weeks

Hydrocodone is generic Vicodin. If it's not helping, call your dentist and let him/her know. Have you ever tried Percoset?

There's just no good reason to be in pain with all the excellent pain options there are now, and I'll be really disappointed if your dentist doesn't work with you on this.

well that just goes to show you how much i know about drugs.  I was told it was generic for oxy by someone, I think a Pharm tech, maybe i woun't go there anymore :lol:  :lol: .  Anyway in that case that stuff knocked me on my butt, i was perscribed 500mg everytime i have had it (a lot).

4 vicoden now, and im getting tired but my mouth still hurts. I just changed my gause again (about 5 times so far) and im still bleeding, not as bad, but its still there. It takes me about 30 min to get comphy again after changing cause it hurts REALLY REALLY bad.
