Sprocket replacement time

I have a 99 with 16000 on it. I am going to replace both sprockets and chain. Just wondering if any one had a link to a step by step process or any tricks of the trade to ease my wrenching. I have a manual coming with my parts. Thanks

It probably isn't hard, but is probably only easy if you know what you are doing and are mechanically inclined. Not everyone is ;)

I'd do a search and see what turns up. I just did and found som info, but not sure specifically what you're looking for :)

I just, (literally just), finished putting my new 15 tooth sprocket and new chain on.  It took me about an hour and a half, but  40 minutes of that were spent grinding the old chain pins off to get it off.  (my dremel had an old grinder head).  Another half an hour was spent cleaning out the nasty sludge inside the sprocket cover so all in all I don't feel too bad.

As soon as I finish lunch, it's back out to change the rear pads, flush both brake systems, change the plugs, install my Kat shock and install an accessory connection.
