YOu know I went out and did the same on my bike, pulled the left plug, no change in the idle, pulled the left plug, wouldnt start unless I really pulled the choke. See if putting the choke on helps it when its only running on one cyinlder(ie the left cylinder), cuz if it does help we have the same problem.

OK!!!! here's the new deal

- Bike is running on 1 cylinder. The right one works ( i have a fingerprintless finger to prove that the right one DOES have heat going through it, the left one does not)

- Did spark plug test again. Spark looks fine. Switched spark plugs to other side. Still runs on right cylinder only.

- Looked at the ground wire from the battery. Checked both the fat and skinny, I see no corrosion, nor loose connections. I twisted and played with it to get it to work. Still on one cylinder.

I will be looking tonite to see if a switch of ignitor coils will change my 1 cylinder problem. Otherwise, Srinath might be getting my carbs for cleaning. I hope i can solve this problem. I WANT MY SUKI!!!!

Thanks to all!

I had the whole V-single thing going as well for a bit.  We just played with the cable to the spark plug and it fired up.  That wire may be the issue for you...

Mine did that at 35K, turned out to be the crank trigger ... runs fine for 2-3 mins and then dies on one ... swapping coils made no diff ... crank trigger ... it can get bad enough to do that right at start up.
Cool.
Srinath.
