Actually, he used additive color when he talked about the primary colors earlier. ;)  It's a convention for pigments - paint and the like.  It's easier to talk about adding red and yellow to get orange rather than talking about combining pigments that subtract all wavelengths but these two ranges to create a pigment with a combinatorial subtractive profile.

If u say so Roadstergal. U seem to konw alot of stuff. I'm usually the random/useless fact wizard among my friends. I assume you are too. Am I wrong????

That's easy. The first number plus the second equals the third, and the the second and third equal the fourth, etc.

But the 31 should be a 21. So the ones after are off also.

I am swell at math. Always perfect on that part of IQ tests. Nerd alert.

That's the Fibonacci sequence.

I'm a math minor, too.

And the minor Dave is right - you're off on the 21.

Correct. I would also accept snacktacular.

Quote from: aevans17I usually dislike weather warmer then 75 degrees. I'm hoping to hit the beach though to cool down, and of course GA for fun. I went to GA twice before, the last time was about 9 years ago so I'm hoping that they have some cool new coasters. Last time Top Gun was my favorite, with Vortex comming a close second.

Have you ever been on X down south at Magic Mountain? omG I thought I was gonna die! It was GREAT!!!  :thumb:

man so many posts over the fibonacci (I know I can't spell!) sequence, and yes Roadstergal got it first by it's name. Sorry for my bad math I should have checked my list twice before pressing the submit button.

Pandy, last time I was at Magic Mtn the newest ride was Goliath. At the time it was world record holder for Longest Drop. It was pretty cool. That was like 5 years ago and I haven't been back sense. I don't think they had a coaster called X, but I might have just missed it.
