maybe someone would be willing to having it CNCed?  though the amt. that would need to be sold to cover the cost may not make it worth a machine shops time... :dunno:

They are just relocator plates. 1/4" thick x 2" wide aluminum to move the stock rearsets back and up. There may be an issue with reaching the shifter when using these. I originally designed these with the use of a peg mounted shifter so it did not matter how far back they were.

Up 3/4" and Back 1-1/2":

Up 1" and Back 1"
(note: there may be an issue with the stock rearsets hitting the bolts that mount these to the frame. Counter sinking them will eliminate this problem):

Common sense in not very common.

I just got the Gimbel rears.  They're nicely made and even come with a new brake light switch and a rear braided steel brake line and some new rubber tubing.  Even two black zip ties came in the box.

Instructions and diagrams are in German though....Wild Hair includes a brief instruction sheet in english though.

I really like their simplistic design. I have been working on a rearset design that is a cross between Gimble and Woodcraft.

From Pablano's page, we can see that it's a very easy modification to use Honda CBR F3 stock rearsets on the GS. Just a little slotting and you're there.

Alphafire...I finished Pablo's install, and it's not quite simple.

Gotta cut some casted mounts off of the rearsets and figure out a way to shift (I use the stock shifter since I am size 13 boot equipped) and also cut the stock master cylinder actuator rod down.

Not sure how easily it'll go back to stock.

Really? It looked like a fairly simple switch... What a bummer; it seemed like a fairly easy install, too. The shift rod didn't have enough length? I have a boot size of 9.5, so I might not have to do all that...
