Ja.  A friend of mine did some missionary work in South Africa this summer.  I've heard the horror stories of how rampant infidelity and rape are, and I've also heard many stories of how the myth that having sex with a virgin will cure you of AIDS has spread all over that area.  But I was expecting it to be 9-10 year olds, which is bad enough - but she said in the villages she worked in, men were raping girls who were 3 or 4.  And not a couple of isolated instances; it was a real, chronic problem.

How the hell do you 'educate' people like that?

Designed for men with a midevil ideas and impulses that cant seem to curb them.   though i could also say that would only be useful for a very short time. after a couple men get stuck (would imagine its painful to be surgicly removed) these men would then check and remove or FORCE the wemen to remove them. and whos to say the wemen wont end up DEAD once the dude heals enough or is out of prison couple years down the road? whos to say the woman wont be dead before the dude leaves ?

yeah, i dont see what there is to possibly missunderstand about rape.

i do think there are some screwed up laws and sexual Morals but there aint awhole lot about rape that ISNT pretty damn cut and dry in the sense its wrong.

rape asside i have an issue with the ease of spreading a deadly not to easly cured disease through sexual contact. i dont belive anyone with such a disease should be allowd sex.  the lack of fidelity these days, the comon occurance that folks get married or live together then divorce or move on to life with another.  nope, you got the crud? here is an inhibitor to knock the drive out of you and turn you barren/inert.  does it seem right ? if i found i had it i would be the first inline to make sure i didnt help spread it.

I was being very flippant when I wrote "Give them a choice sex with condoms or Bobbitt!!!!" obviously you missed that.  But that aside, education would be best.  Unfortunately changing cultural morals and norms is very difficult to do.  For example if you sit a person in a room with a chair who has no previous experience with a chair, can you expect that person to sit in the chair??? Probably not.

Personally I would rather have a gun or knife than sticking something like that up inside to catch someone if they raped me.  This would be a very uncomfortable inconvenience.  And a pain in the ass to keep sanitary.

Actually, there's a lot wrong in the world today: female circumcision, rape, torture, women who are burned or who burn themselves after their husband's death, rape victims who are blamed and prosecuted (as well as persecuted) for "their" crime... don't get me started.
