hey anybody that can help.
i was driving down the road when my bike completly shut off on me. I've been searching for 2 weeks trying to find out what went wrong. All i've found is that i have power running through all my wires on the bike, even on the ground wires, i figure its a short but i dont know where to look. I called a suzuki house and they told me to look for a fuse box, hadnt found that either. if anyone can help let me know. thanx

Welcome!

So the battery didn't just come loose temporarily, and the ground down on the engine didn't come loose and is now just resting on the block? If you're getting power through some wires, wouldn't the fuse still be good? If not, the fuse box is located under the right side plastics.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

how do you "lose all electrical" and yet have power running through all wires...?
My hunch was right...Pandy is the biggest Post Whore!

It is almost definately the fuse, which is on the right side (under the bodywork, I think).  Same thing happened to me.  Cool thing is the bike has an extra fuse, so just swap 'em out.  By the way when you find the fuse it is the extra, so look around under where you found the spare fuse.

We need specifics:

Do lights work?

Starter?

Starter relay click?

etc.

I had an incident where I stopped at the roadside and went to re-start and nothing, I pulled the fuse and it was fine but the relay that it sits-in was corroded to hell and that was the problem. Most likely the fuse but if its the relay, clean or replace it and replace the fuse then pack with grease, it's worked for me. The illustration in the owners manual is CRAP, to look at it you would assume the spare fuse is the active one. It is not the easiest thing to find. Once found I have made a dymo marker on the frame. In the past someone has posted a picture, possibly Kerry, if so I am sure he will oblige again.
