Why argue over the Internet? (Loaded question)

Yeah, I think it's retarded. Seems like every "debate" thread we've ever had has just deteriorated into name calling, making up supporting facts, blah blah blah. Never once have  I read, "I didn't look at it that way, I now see that you are correct, and I was wrong. Thank you for leading me to the one and only right answer." What's the point? Even seemingly nice threads have gone down the drain, and I'm sure that this one will too. RedShift, I salute you, as you always seem to try to look at something from both sides, and never resort to name calling or anything like that.

Now. Let's argue.

no your wrong you little inbread hippie. there have been 47 threads about arguing that have not desinergrated into namecalling fights.  this can clearly be assumed by google searching "failure" and going to page 334. that is the 18th one in a series about purple bikes ridden by mulotto girl/guys on a zelda quest to understand the k&n meaning of life.

This should be on a billboard somewhere. Rock on.

Is inbread some sort of hip, new kind of bread loaf? If so, put me down for a couple cases.

That must mean it has honey on it?

Is it unleavened?

Posting in these forums allows everyone the ability to take their time to think before they speak. Too bad some do not take advantage of it. We do not always see the humor or saricasm that is implied. After a while, we learn what to expect from some. Different cultures, languages, age and maturity play a role as well. Most may only meet a few of the members here. After meeting someone from here, your view may change on how to respond to their posts or anyone elses.

There are some flaming that goes on here. I have seen a lot worse on some forums (like CF). Maybe that is why some go to them. That is one reason I stay away from them.

The repeating posts on jetting, exhausts, etc. are annoying at times. This is going to happen with any type bike forum, especially an entry level one. This does lead to some ill placed comments. I am sure it affects the lurkers or new members.

Maybe some just need a good lay.

But then maybe I am just full it.

I certainly need a good lay.  And I wouldn't be surprised if you're full of it, too.  :)

I've been thinking about it, and you know, you're right.  It's pointless.
