I'm Joel Rosales' sister and I'm sorry to inform you that my brother was in a tragic accident on September 9, 2005 @ 10:30pm (last night).  He was happy and riding and although his life was cut short, we know that he was doing what he loved to do.  Thanks for being there for him - he loved this forum and everyone in it.

You have my deepest sympathy. As a (former) soldier and motorcyclist, I've lost many friends over the years, and coping with the loss of a loved one is always an ordeal.

My best to you and your family; though I've only been a member of this forum for a week, I know from painful experience that your brother will be missed by all.

wow...that's really sad. i had exchanged private conversations with him many times. i'm really sorry to hear that...it's quite shocking.  :(

OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS?!??!?!

I was just talking to him on the 8th on the other board (gtamotorcycle)...and he told me to drop by this morning at 10:30am to check out his bike cuz he's selling it...I didn't go cuz I was out riding...

this is the sadest thing that have ever happened so close to me...you have my deepest sympathy...I wish the best to your and your family...even though Joel and I never met in person...I always felt that he was a friend at heart...now I regret that when I had the chance to meet him...I didn't make the effort to make it happen...things can just happen in an instant...but I'm sure that he's in a better place now...and that he will be missed by all...

mourn his death, then in time, celebrate his life.
however short it may have been he died happy and satisified. in time I hope you can understand that, and come to peace.

I also hope that you do not end up bitter twards those who still practice the lifestyle that your brother chose for himself.

oh.. sorry to hear that.. we never properly met... earlier this year.. I was in car but he was on bike to Scarborough town center.. and I recognized his bike right away..

Service will be held at Ogden Funeral Home located on Sheppard Avenue, West of Midland Ave.
Sunday September 11 Between 6pm - 9pm
Monday September 12 Between 6pm - 9pm

Funeral will be on Tuesday at 10am on cemetery at Midland / Finch.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.  It never seems fair when the life of someone we care about is taken. Hopefully just knowing that there is a large community of people that care will help you and your family get through this, even in the smallest amount.

Don't know what to say beyond I wish the family the best, and the small comfort, if any, of knowing that there was a reason for him to be taken.
