...I never did talk directly with him, but he did sound like a great individual.  After looking over some of his posts, I can say he seems to have been a classy guy who loved to have fun.   He left us on his GS, which he undoubtably loved to ride and work on...

haven't been browsing this forum lately but I'm shocked about what happened and it makes me sad to know it happened to someone who was so enthusiastic about riding and the gs. I spoke with him a couple times in pm's and have nothing to say about him except he was exceptionally kind.
I'm sure he will be greatly missed on gstwin.com.

I've been gone for sometime from the board here and I'm trying to catch up on things here and to find out about a fellow member and rider like this is shocking.....

condolonces.  i know how it feels to lose a sibling, i lost my baby brother 3 years ago to an accident as well.

i knew joel thru these message boards and he was enthusiastic about his bike.  we have had several conversations on pm and even teased about getting the most mods on our bikes.

to hear of this news deeply saddens me.  you and your family are in my prayers.  god bless.
