A local dealer here has pink gear: full-face helmets, half-helmets, jackets, full leathers, etc. Look around at some of your local shops.

Did you wind up getting it, or are you going to wait until they get the gloves in?

Man, I want some wine right now. Some pinot noir...yeah, that sounds nice

After I give her the pink helmet, I'll give her the ... never mind.  :)

In the continuing pink-gear saga...  Cortech LRX.

A new jacket for Cortech, and a very nicely done one.  With the zippered liner in, it's warmer than the MotoGP jacket.  A good dose of reflective piping.  prEN level I CE armor, if I'm remembering correctly.  Good adjustability in arms and cuffs and waist.  The jacket goes down to the hips, which helps keep it in place and keeps the wind out.  Lots of pockets, although they go for quantity over individual volume.
Not crash-tested as yet...
The sizes feel a bit big to me.  Nobody smaller than I am would feel all snug in the XS.

RVertigo

But, have you rain tested it yet?

I tried that pink Icon helmet on when I was helmet shopping (only size small they had out on the floor).  I felt like a moron.  Had to duck behind the display case whilst trying the fit.  I couldn't get that thing back into the box fast enough.

But to each her own, I guess.  I just can't do pastels...

You'll have noted a distinct lack of rain here recently.  Shocking for this area of the country at this time of year, but there you go...

RVertigo

Yeah... THe lack of rain...  Well, snow really...  is making me ANGRY!! :x

Roadstergal

Bad on a number of levels...

RVertigo

Cold without snow is just annoying...

Not enough water to make it through the summer...  Now, THAT sucks.

The problem I have found with women's jackets is that they don't take in consideration those of us who are a bit taller.  I'm only 5'9" but every woman's jacket I have tried on the sleeves come up a good 3 inches from my wrists when sitting on the bike.  I mean what the heck.  And then to get a sweater under the jacket for warmth makes me feel like a balloon.  If they would just come out with a tall section or something that would be great.

Seems just the opposite to me... Everything I try on is about 6 inches too long... The sleeves cover my hands, and I'd have to shorten the pants about 12 inches!

I get blamed for EVERYTHING around here!
:woohoo:

Roadstergal

OK, it's now rain-tested.   :P   I'm dry.

Most of the women's gear I try on is too big or too long in some dimension.  It must be nice to be average.

same problem - 5'10" here and all the stuff I buy is guys gear - same with my leathers. I can't even look at girl's one piece - it's a joke! I'd feel like I got shrunk in the dryer! : )

Ya i have the problem with the arms too.  The sleeves are always way too short.  I have that problem with regular womens clothes too.  Clothes shopping always sucks ass.

How far did you get?

My jacket is dry for about 40 minutes of HOLY CRAP RAIN at 70 MPH...  Then it FAILS.   :(

Roadstergal

Just commuting and errands, so far.  I was out for 1/2 hour last night, but there were stops.

RVertigo

Yeah...  If you count the stops, mine went longer than 45 minutes...  Oh well, I guess I can't expect the world.
