Do I HAVE to get a PVC pipe to seat the fork seal (the 2 foot x 1 1/2" piece that I read about on some of the fork seal posts)?  I'm hoping I don't have to make ANOTHER trip to Home Depot as unfortunetly I don't have any laying around.  And it sounds like they only sell it in 10' lengths, then I'll have 8' laying around my apartment!!!  I haven't read back through my repair manual, but can it be done without the PVC?

I'm getting that I need one from this post: http://gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10036&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=fork+oil+seals&start=0

Thanks!

Ahhh, never underestimate your local hardware store!!... 3/4 of a mile from work, asked and the old guy went in the back and cut me a 2' piece, and 158 pennies later, I'm in business!!!  No driving all the way across town to Homely Depot for a 10' piece.  Plus I stopped at the auto parts store and bought a nifty syringe thingy for the fork oil and two NGK plugs for another 590 pennies, now as soon as my %$&# tires and seals come from the UPS man I can ride again before it starts snowing!!!   :thumb:
