We're talking about the owner's manual that's supposed to come with the GS500, not an optional repair manual right?

Quote from: TarzanBoyI recently made a copy of what I think is the official Suzuki gs500 manual.  I found it among the items that cheesy gave to me along with my bike.

I can't be absolutely sure that its the official manual because there is no cover page (or cover)... but what I have are very thin (onion skin... thinner than newsprint) 8.5x11 3-hole punched pages with chapters 1-12.

There is no copyright information listed anywhere, and the manual covers '89-'93 models which is what leads me to think that it is probably an official manual.

.................

Sounds like you have the factory service manual for years 89 - 93 and your'e missing the first white page that has the chapter index and copyright notice on it.

It's that little blurb you or cheesey must have whited out

Just kidding, in all seriousness, you own that particular copy. And you probably have the legal right ro make a "backup copy for archival puposes" correct? So make your backup copy for archival purposes, and only "distibute" the PDF privately (via email, not anonymous download) to people who claim to have the original copy but want an "archived backup copy" as well, if you catch my drift  8)
