I bought an EZOut set at AutoZone.  I'm trying to use the #1 screw extractor.  The end of the extractor is a 4-sided shank, coming to a point:

(no, that's not a GS500 in the picture... I broke the brake disc set-screw on a VW).

I'm not sure how best to turn the extractor.  If it had 3 sides, I could put it in a drill.  The extractor packaging says to use a wrench to turn it, but the sides of the 4-sided shank are very narrow (0.112 inches), so it doesn't have much of a flat area for a wrench to grab onto.

It seems like a miniscule 12-point socket would work (if they made them that small).
You cannot escape our master plan!

I use a handle from a tap and die set when using extractors.
Common sense in not very common.
