2005 GS500 Sighting - Georgia Tech in Atlanta

So, I am on campus, just having left my favorite burger joint (after braving this ordeal to make it there in once piece), and I stop at a red light at the bottom of the hill.    Suddenly I notice that another motorcycle is coming up from behind me.... I turn my head to the side just in time to notice the word SUZUKI on a white background.

At first I immediately think 'Gixxer', but as the bike pulls just ahead I notice the all too familliar profile, fairing, and color scheme of a blue/white 2005 gs500 (my bike has the '04 color scheme and fairing).   We eye each other's rides for a second and the other rider says 'Nice bike!'.  I think to myself 'This might be the gs500 that NiceGuysFinishLast was talking about'.

I respond "2005... nice... mine is actually an '89 with '04 fairing and body work".   Surprised, the other rider does a double take on my bike and says "really? wow" (Way to go, Srinath and cheesy!).   I ask him if he's ever been to this site, to which he says 'never'.  I tell him to check it out just as the light turns green.  We pull off in different directions, but I see him again on the highway a couple of minutes later just before I exit to take the other highway home.

He was a 'tad' squidly... riding on the interstate with no jacket (t-shirt)... but I was missing my gloves, so i'm probably not one to talk.

Maybe he'll show up here sooner or later
