Quoteyou read correctly, my first bike will be a busa, call me crazy, call me stupid, but responsible adults deserve to spend their cash how they want to.....

dont worry, i will do my best to be out of the stats, i pride myself in my responsibilty, hopefully, the busa will be such a blast as the 700 hp cobra.....

Pretty much every post after that was, "You're an idiot."  But, the best was :
Quotefirst dibs on the parts that are still good.

'busa board...  Someone I know was going on about the Stupid Dodge "motorcycle."  I said that it was really damn stupid and that a tricked 'busa would probably give it a run for the money.

So, I was trying to find race stats...  And found that.

It was nice to see that the 'busa owners said:
    MSF!
    You're Gonna DIE!
You're an IDIOT![/list:u] I guess real riders are the same regardless of what they ride. :thumb:

any clue as to how old this "responsible adult" is?

are we talking dumbass kid, or mid-life crisis?  or just a dumbness that transcends all age?

Give the guy a little slack, maybe he is the one person in the entire universe that is responsible all the time, especially with timebomb anchored beneath his genitals.

Glad to hear the Busa boys told him he was stupid.

I still love beer.  Hooray me!!!

Most of the 'Busa guys I see are older than the crotch rocket crowd - 30s and 40s, ex-crotch-rocketeers who want something big and stable with more torque than a small country.

a guy in the factory here at work rides one - he races his new gixxer 1k and has a GS1100-based drag bike that he does fairly well on, too.  Likes the 'Busa for the exact reasons you gave - stability, comfort, and it will still haul ass.

Oh yeah...  That was the best part...  21.

You can troll it if you want...
just turned 21, and busa will be first bike[/list:u]

Hey... Look at that...  Looks like the 'busa boys did a good job with the kid...  Well, as good as can be expected.  Posted last night
QuoteJust so ya'll know, ive totally reconsidered, and have been doing a lot of research, i think im gonna try to get a katana or maybe a used gsxr 600, or a zzr600, not a busa, as far as leathers/gear goes, i dont think i would be caught dead without them on a bike...
thanks for the input guys.. crazy/stupid indeed hahaha....

    Roadstergal

Ah, he'll "only" be getting a GSX-R 600 as his first bike.

    RVertigo

Like I said...  As good as can be expected.

Hopefully he'll end up at a 600 board and they'll tell him to get a 500.   :thumb:

    Somehow I doubt it though...

Maybe he'll end up here and we can try to convince him to get a moped.  :thumb:

na, we'll send him over to the 250 ninja board, and they will tell him to get a moped.

Seriously though...if he had gone with the 'busa, it probably wouldn't be long until he was spending a lot of time on the motorized wheelchair board.
