Home Depot carries metric screws and bolts.
Head might be different but you should be able to get one that fits.
One fell off my KLR and I was able to get a good match.

I've been to HD at least 5 times looking for metric...  They've had some, but never what I needed.

In this area, we have Tacoma Screw...  Which has EVERYTHING...  And if they don't have it, they'll make it.

The only problem is their banker's hours.  I can never get down there when they're open.   :x
