Well, it isn't like I had much of a choice with my camera, it was free! The A-1 was my father's old camera from back in the 70s, and it's just worked its way through the family to me. What I think is also helping make me a better photographer is this photography class I'm taking. That's what these pictures are for, really.

Next project is "disturbances", where we put stuff at the edges of the frame. So basically proper "artistic" framing of shots.

I got a dSLR a while ago. I went to the track on Saturday to cornerwork. Here's a shot of Mike Sanchez running through Turn 10 (The Horseshoe) at Texas World Speedway.
