Saturated fat in egg yolk is a drop in the bucket to what's in the ramen.

Yeah I know.... Just don't want to add more to my already somewhat unhealthy staple.  Already take vitamins and eat canned veggies to at least get some of the stuff i am missing from the Ramen diet

sometimes i feel bad that i haven't spoken to my ex-wife in two and a half years and that i don't even know if she's living in this state anymore.

times like this, i'm reminded what a blessing that is.

check for canned tuna onsale (5 for a dollar) at kroger every couple of weeks.  after my divorce I lived on it and ramen for about a year.  ate dry tune out of the can (couldn't afford mayo or bread).  eat it out of the can, using the lid as a spoon and you dont have dishes to wash.  also used to hit arbys when they had sales and freeze the sandwiches for a treet every now and then.
oops,  you'll need a new one of them

I dunno why people are hating on the ramen. I personally think the stuff's great =P and yeah, it's gotten me through some tight times =) ramen, and multi-vitamins...  :)

Been there too...  If you can get a good handful of mustard packets at a fast food place, it adds a little zest.

Back in the day, I recall one year picking up 3 turkeys around Thanksgiving becuase they were on sale for something like $.39/lb (it was probably right after Thanksgiving).  3 because I could only fit two in the freezer and one in the fridge.  Lived on roasted turkey, turkey pot pies, turkey salad, turkey tacos, turkey stir fry, ramen turkey, turkey soup, turkey fricassee, and the occasional turkey sandwich for a loooong time.  I clearly recall sitting with a plate of turkey remnants and a 50lb bag of flour (cheaper in bulk!) wondering, "what else can I do with this?"

Good times.

Yeah I love tuna and eat it or salmon when i can get it on sale.  Also love sardines, but not many other people like it when i eat them   we have a discount bakery around here so i can get a loaf of surplus bread for a quarter (white/wheat) or fifty cents (wheat whole grain).  And yes i have a giant bottle of multi-vitamins, wal-mart brand no less (couldn't find any cheaper).

, cause the steak, was cut so small, couldnt grill it, (or was too drunk to grill it)   , it was easier, to pan-fry, plus sometimes works better :thumb:

1)  Prep noodles in the "normal" way.

2)  Place in blender, blend for 2-5 seconds

3)  Pour into travel mug w/ wide closeable mouth.

4)  Consume while driving.

Beats the hell out of cornflakes w/ milk while driving.  (Done that too)  Only bad thing is dribbling it down your clothes 160 miles from work when you're already late.  WETWIPES are the sh1t!

Actually, I'm going through another canned meat ravioli w/ applesauce phase at this time.  Damn sauce isn't colorless though - leaves stains.   :x
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

if you get decent quality canned ravioli (an oxymoron for sure, but i'm talking chef boyardee quality here) you can eat it cold just fine.

just bring a can opener and it's a great cheap snack when you don't have anywhere to heat something up.
