Selling my bike

Man what a great summer, I rode to work every single day and it only rained twice on me. When the bike is gone I will stay visit and wait for the day (hopefully next summer) when I ride again. Thanks for everyones help and advice. Cheers

Don't you lose a lot of money by buying a bike right before summer and then selling in the winter time when nobody else can ride either?

i'd say its the luck of the draw.  If you buy early enough in the spring you can probably get a deal from a gal/guy who just wants the cash to put down on a new bike of her/his own.    Even though fall is here, I know a guy or two who are looking to purchase bikes.

true, there are less buyers around in the winter... but a seller isn't riding *anyway*, so they might not feel as pressured to compromise on a sale price.  Especially if they have the luxury of being able to wait till the spring.

keep in mind that here in atlanta our riding season is 11.5 months...  many many other places only have like a 6-7mo riding season... that's why bikes don't really fall *too* much in price
