Motorcycledaily.com is known for their photoshop fantasies...looks like a suzuki version of the fz6...but bears no resemblance to the gsxr which it would be based on.

It's true, http://www.globalsuzuki.com/gsr/index.html although no mention of where all it will be available or prices. Not a bad bike but not really my style....Might be a price thing but I would like to see USD forks and radial calipers on these new "performance" oriented bikes. Makes me wonder what else Suzuki might possibly roll out for this year though :dunno:

I like it... but it doesn't have the X in it. No 4 valves per cylinder? Come on! I'm also conflicted about the front turn signals... They remind me too much of the Kawasaki ER-6n. I like the front headlight though.

Yawn. Another high-priced, overstyled, fairing-deprived, middleweight inline 4 (read: another showroom queen set to languish on dealership floors until rebates kick in).

The R&D money could've been better spent overhauling the GS500 for the neglected entry level / lightweight niche.

Ja, IMO, I-4s are too 'hip' right now. I like twins and thumpers, and they're more practical for street bikes.

I'm getting that "europe only" vibe about this bike myself. Those flush-mounted signals won't pass many US state inspections... so all these pics so far must be for Euro-models.
