I was there for awhile, saw those new uniforms right as I was leaving country. I take it you are active duty, by your new uniform, and M-4.
Wish I had one of those for my truck when I was there. Getting an M-16 out the window to lay down suppressive was a PITA.  The whole Iraqi experience was my reason for "treating" myself to my 998 . You should pick out some lil baby to treat yourself too for your return.  BTW, I'm looking to find a place to host a bunch of my pictures. If you know a place that is easier and more accessible than snapfish, I would appreciate it.

James, thanks for serving--my family and I really appreciate the sacrifices that our servicemen/women are making.  

I joined and got my commission in the Navy in June.  I'm in the JAG Corps, though, and I'm not really deployable for at least 6-12 months (it takes some time to learn enough to be truly useful).  The did, however, manage to find a CONUS desert to send us to:  Lemoore, CA.

Stay safe and be sure to buy yourself your dream bike when you get home.
